Other Health Centres and Patient Travel

We have four smaller health centres located in Bulla, Mialuni, Nitjpurru and Lingara. These are generally staffed by visiting doctors, remote area nurses and Aboriginal health workers. In addition to this, our mobile health team regularly travels to smaller communities and outstations throughout our region, servicing approximately 600 patients.

Acute and emergency care

Katherine West Health Board offers 24 hours acute and emergency care if required. Contact 000 for emergency assistance.

Appointments and home visits

Clients are seen on a ‘walk in’ basis- the health centre does not make set appointments.

Home visits are offered to people who require them. Where a home visit is requested the health centre team will endeavour to provide this service.
