Established in 1998, the Katherine West Health Board Aboriginal Corporation (KWHB) is the sole provider of primary health care services (clinical, emergency and preventative) to mostly aboriginal clients over a 162,000 sq/km region on the western side of the Northern Territory.

This enormous area of rolling bush and river country extends from Katherine in the North East, through the Victoria River region, and down to Lajamanu on the edge of the Tanami Desert.
