Founded in 1998, the Katherine West Health Board (KWHB) is an aboriginal community controlled health service based across the rolling river and desert country of the remote outback region to the south west of Katherine in Australia's Northern Territory. KWHB provides an industry renowned clinical, preventative and emergency health service to the 3500 residents and visitors in our region.
In our 15th year, KWHB now employs 50+ health professionals working in our administrative offices in Katherine, along with our health service providers (GPs, Aboriginal Health Practitioners and RANs) in our health centres of Lajamanu, Kalkarindji, Timber Creek, Yarralin, Bulla, Pigeon Hole and Mialuni.
